Wintergreen oil has a very sweet, minty, spicy aroma similar to Sweet Birch. The natural constituent, methyl salicylate, is the common denominator affecting the scent of both Birch and Wintergreen. In aromatherapy they share similar uses as well. Wintergreen is a great refresher in room diffusers and can be effective in many massage or relaxing blends. Wintergreen oil blends well in mint and citrus oils.
