Camphor oil, White, China has a somewhat medicinal nose-opening clean aroma. Highly recommended in aromatherapy for respiratory congestion. Predictably it blends well with rosemary and eucalyptus. Practically speaking there are three types of Camphor Oil, Blue, Brown and White. Blue is considered the heaviest consisting mainly of sesquiterpenes and sesquiterpene alcohols with faint scents. Brown Camphor's main constituent is Safrole. Another common chemotype is high in eucalyptol and therefore resembles Eucalyptus.
