It is also packed with essential vitamins and minerals. Almost every herbal tradition has noted it as a useful tonic for the liver and gallbladder.     • Product Features: This powerful little plant can be found growing from the deep south in the United States to the Arabian Peninsula to 12,000 feet in the Himalayas, and is often considered a common weed.

      • In the Himalayas, it's gathered for use in Ayurvedic medicine.
      • In the United States, various native American cultures considered it a prized plant.
      • Other common names include lion's tooth and swine's snout.
    • Origin: Bulgaria

    • Directions: To use as a tea, add 2 teaspoons herb to a tea infuser and place in a tea cup. Pour boiling water over infuser, cover, and steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

    • Suggested uses: Use in teas and salads. For a savory salad mix, combine with a pinch each of nutmeg, garlic, onion and lemon peel.
